She turned around and said “Since when you don’t call me sweetheart or lov…” And then she froze. “Oh God, Klaus, what happened to you?!” The blood was everywhere. On his clothes, on his face. “Don’t pretend that you don’t know, Caroline Forbes. Don’t pretend, that you care.” Klaus repiled. “What are you talking about?” She asked, and she tried to touch his beautiful cheek. But he pushed her away and snarled “Your lovely friends and my brothers had planned an excellent surprise for me. It was really hilarious, when they stuffed my body with a million pieces of daggers of the holy tree and tthey used these voodoo spells, just to convince me that i really should leave Mystic Falls. Don’t tell me, that you don’t know anything, Caroline. Stop with these lies.”
“But it’s true!” She screamed and started to cry. “I don’t know anything about, about… this…” She was extremely nervous right now. The way he look at her makes her cry even more. Caroline stopped to think if he would hurt her - she carefully came to him and hugged him. “I would never” She whispered into his ear “Never let them do this to you”. She kissed he softly in his cheek and started to crying again.
They’re standing there for long, until she fell asleep in his arms.

Katherine: One question, why Caroline? I mean, she’s not a good comrade, specially for you. She’ll get scared and run away eventually, and you’re gonna be alone. Again.
Klaus: Oh, love, i don’t think she’ll run away.
Katherine: And why are you think like that?
Klaus: Because, she can’t. She belongs to me, Katherine. There is nothing what she can do without my permission.
